Accessibility
RALPH's target is WCAG 2.2 level AA, for this site and for the product. Where something falls short, tell us and we will fix it.
The target
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, published by the W3C. It covers this site and every screen of the product, on phones as well as desktops.
How RALPH is built to it
- The product’s design system is built to WCAG 2.2 AA. Colour contrast is measured with the WCAG 2.x ratios, in the product’s own themes. When organisations can bring their own brand colour, it will be measured too.
- This site is static HTML that works without JavaScript, with one main heading per page, landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer, and a Markdown copy of every page at the same address plus
.md.
Where we are
RALPH is new, and not every screen has been audited against the standard yet. Until one has, we don’t claim that it conforms, only that conformance is the aim, and that we treat a shortfall as a bug.
Report a problem
If something on this site or in the product is hard or impossible to use with the way you work, email accessibility@example.com. Say what you were trying to do, where, and with which browser or assistive technology. We will reply, and tell you when it’s fixed.
